ENGLISH LANGUAGE ADVISORY SERVICE
AUCKLAND REGION
Do you have questions about your English skills? Do you have an
employee who would benefit from improving their English?
Auckland Regional Migrant Services has an independent English
Advisory Service which provides one on one consultations and expert advice for
all migrants and refugees.
If you are a migrant wishing to upskill your English skills, you
will need to identify a suitable course in terms of location, cost, time of
day/week, that fits with your particular up-skilling needs and immigration
status.
Deciding on the right course for you can be a complex task
involving hours of research. Across the Auckland Region there are a
multitude of English Language Providers (Tertiary Institutions, Private
Providers and Community Providers) offering many types of courses at differing
levels, for general, academic or specialist purposes such as English for
Employment or Pronunciation.
To improve your English for employment and settlement, we
recommend a one on one consultation (click here)
with an English Language Advisor that will provide you with:
-
helpful advice and assessment
-
names of suitable providers and courses
-
your own English learning plan
-
useful ideas for self-study for English language
